Aimee is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with people of various ages, cultural backgrounds, ability levels, and presentations.
Aimee has a special interest in women’s health, encompassing:
Menstrual issues such as Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and Endometriosis.
Trauma and emotion regulation difficulties including personality vulnerabilities
Perinatal mental health
Reproductive concerns
Parenting stress and adjustment
Sexual health matters
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Chronic health conditions
Depression and anxiety
Grief and loss
Relationship difficulties
Substance and addictive disorders
Aimee draws from various therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs and circumstances of her clients, including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Mindfulness-based therapies such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Trauma informed therapies such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Aimee graduated with recognition for her academic excellence and outstanding clinical practice. She has contributed to research on bilingualism, and perinatal depression and attachment.
