Aimee is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with people of various ages, cultural backgrounds, ability levels, and presentations.

Aimee has a special interest in women’s health, encompassing:

  • Menstrual issues such as Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and Endometriosis.

  • Trauma and emotion regulation difficulties including personality vulnerabilities

  • Perinatal mental health

  • Reproductive concerns 

  • Parenting stress and adjustment

  • Sexual health matters 

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Chronic health conditions

  • Depression and anxiety

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Substance and addictive disorders

 

Aimee draws from various therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs and circumstances of her clients, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

  • Mindfulness-based therapies such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

  • Trauma informed therapies such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Aimee graduated with recognition for her academic excellence and outstanding clinical practice. She has contributed to research on bilingualism, and perinatal depression and attachment.
